I went out on my own today - down the lift and up the hill to the main entrance.
Managed to get a puncture so had to find someone kind enough to rescue me with their bicyle pump!

Hi Lou you would think I work in a office these days, but I have just had to speak to Johan so he can tell me what to do.I have come up with one good idea so we can raise some money for you,I have written and e-mailed the six nations teams (Rugby) asking them for signed shirts so we can auction them off at the Exeter do.The only thing is I cant write in French or Italian so if you know of anyone who can they could get in touch.I hope things are going well with you and we will come and see you on your say so , you never know I might even bring you that Chinese meal I promised .Take care and lots of love as always Steve Lindsay and the girls.xxxx

Hi Sarah,

Katie Stephens (ne langdell) again. Just catching up on your progress. It's good to see you are getting out in the fresh air and you are about to start rehabilitation shortly at Odstock. Keep your chin up. I don't know the extent of your injuries but can imagine and all i know is that if you believe you are going to make a full recovery the odds are in your favour that it will happen. I recall a certain jockey just a couple of years ago at Bangor having a very bad fall and a spinal injury, with doctors giving him a very very slim chance of walking again and he defied them all and is now completely mobile and getting back on with his life. We were out to dinner with him last year and he was able to race us all up the stairs to the restaurant. So it is possible and don't ever think it isn't. Keep your pecker up, you can do it.
