"I'm totally overwhelmed by all the cards I have received and when I look at them, it picks me up knowing everyone is thinking of me. They are such a help.
"I'm feeling quite jolly and positive today and was singing along to the radio this morning so I must be feeling better. I'm also coming off the pain killers which is much better. I'm so determined I'm going to walk again and I'm going to beat this.
"I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone soon although at the moment I'm still very tired so I would just like close friends and relatives to visit me.
"On Friday I went into a wheel chair for the first time and this week I'll be going in it everyday. I'm also looking forward to when I get my own really snazzy wheel chair and seeing everyone at the races!"

Hi.
Glad to read your note and read that your spirits are doing ok. People keep asking after you, even those who know your name through point-to-point.
Thinking of you lots - my mobile phone is on 24/7 so text me one day.
Lots of love Sarah, Mark and Jennifer.

Hi Sarah,
We don't know you but were saddened to hear of your accident but we are glad to hear you are progressing well & long may it continue.
You sound in good spirits with yourself & thats brilliant, just keep your chin up & battle away.
Should I get down your way I'll pop in with some grapes (I'm a 'white van man' for my sins)but unfortunately I usually stay this side of the Watford Gap so hopefully somebody else will bring you some.
Anyway,get well soon.All the best.

Hi Sarah

Well, not sure how to use this technical, new fangled blog stuff. Ifact, this is the second time have typed this in, so if you get it twice, sorry and if you don't get it and it goes off somewhere else, perhaps some techno type person will let me know.

Anyway bird, what a pickle. But i know in my heart that if anybody will nail this baby it will be you. As previously stated, you have balls the size of turnips, are as strong as an ox on acid, stubborn as a dartmoor pony being loaded into a horse box and as mad as a springer spaniel, so go girl.

Can't wait to see you back in the pub (hopefully the Tradesmans will be open soon) if not we shall open it ourselves.

Thinking of you loads and let us know when you are up to a visit and if you want your nails doing !!!!!!

Loads of love and huggles

Ali and Paul xx
